OTS Romper For A Summer Day

Hey loves!

I’m really excited to get this post up for y’all because I absolutely love this look. I think it’s hands down the most “bloggery” outfit I’ve posted on here, and I’m totally okay with it. The off the shoulder look has been such a huge trend lately, and I love it! It’s so flattering and different from the regular strapless romper or dress.

I got this romper on sale for just $15 here, honestly a steal! I’d definitely recommend checking out romwe.com for super cute, affordable clothing pieces for summer. I completed this look with some Steve Madden wedges and my Tory Burch cross body - if I can find either of them online, I’ll make sure to link them for you!

Again, I had lots of fun shooting this look, and the pictures turned out so great! I love the scenery - it’s very hotel in LA. But don’t be fooled, these were taken at the Galleria Dallas in about 100 degree weather 🙃

Anyway, this is the last post I’m putting up before I head back to Norman this coming Monday (aaahhh!) I’m excited to get back to school, I miss my college friends, sorority and campus soooo much. I’m ready to get back in to the routine of things.

A Week In Paradise

I’m currently in a very crowded, cold airport writing this post for you guys. If you’ve been reading my latest few posts, you’d know I’d be traveling to the Cayman Islands! The 7 days are now up, and they went way too fast. I had so much fun traveling with my family. From long days at the beach, to exploring different parts of the island, to the absolute best food, I had the greatest time. And the beach and scenery I woke up to each morning, let me tell ya - It. Was. BEAUTIFUL! 

In a way, I’m ready to get home so I can start preparing to go back to Norman for recruitment/school which I’m also really excited about! But this vacation was definitely much needed, and I’m so appreciative that I was able to go on it. I also had to add a family pic because I’m super cheesy and I love them. Now, with some great memories and a couple sunburns later, I’m home :)

Sidenote.. I kissed a stingray, and that means good luck for 7 years.

Laid Back Summer Outfit

Hey guys!

Alright, time is definitely flying this summer, and I’m totally okay with it. As much as I love having time to update my blog so much more often and not be studying/stressed out about school, I miss college! I really need to be back at OU with all my DG sisters ASAP, well, after my trip to the Caymans in a few days that is.

I wanted to get this outfit post up for y’all because it’s something I would’ve never thought to put together. Usually my J. Crew shorts are paired with a plain top that I tuck in and call it a day. I feel like this look is laid back but still cute. I love the spin of using a tied t-shirt and over-sized, denim button down. Trust me, if it's over-sized, you're speaking my language. These two paired with the shorts along with a bold statement necklace- it’s different! 

Since I’ll be on vacation for the next week, I’d love to do an Island Getaway post for this site so keep an eye out!

Fourth of July Inspired Outfit

Happy almost 4th, guys! I’m really excited to be getting this up for you because I usually only post once a week but… surprise 🙈 If you’re spending the holiday at the lake with a bunch of your friends, I’m definitely jealous. I’ll just be hanging out in Dallas with some close friends, which isn’t bad but I’d definitely like to go out to the lake and get a tan (totally kidding, I’m a ghost). 

Anyway, putting a look together for the 4th is super easy, and I’m sure you have everything you need right in your closet because I didn’t have to go out and buy anything for this look. It’s also perfect because it’s insanely hot here in Texas. 🙃
