Boho printed top + denim skirt

Hi there!

I hope all of you have been doing well :) I'm excited to share this outfit with y'all because it's so different from anything I've showed before with the colors and style. My friend said I looked like a cool art teacher so i'll take it as a compliment 😉
I got this top from Anthropologie on Memorial Day Weekend on sale for under $30. It was reduced several times from some ridiculous price so I definitely got a good deal on it.
These earrings from Charming Charlie were super affordable and are inspired by the Bauble Bar Crispin Drop Earrings but way cheaper. I think they complement the top really well and bring out the warm colors in one another.
Now... let's talk about the skirt. This denim zip-up skirt from Tobi is my favorite! It has become a staple in my closet ever since the trend came back in style. It's comfortable, not too short and it has pockets! On top of that, it's also affordable so there's no reason not to go for it! I sized up and got a medium for reference :)

Talk to y'all very soon! Have a great weekend 😘

choker neck top + life update

Hi everyone!

First, I wanted to catch up with you all about my life and how my summer break is going. I got done with classes about a month ago and came back home to Plano, TX to be with my family. I was expecting to land an internship for the summer, but things didn’t quite go as planned.
I’ll be interning at OU’s Gender & Equality Center this fall as their Social Media Intern which is super exciting! Since my summer cleared up, I’ve been on the hunt for a part-time job, updating my blog a lot more, working out almost every day, seeing friends & family and planning trips. I’ve kept busy so far but fingers crossed I can find a job to make some extra cash!
Now on to the outfit...
I wanted to share this specific look with y’all this week because I’m loving the choker top/ deep v trend. I see it everywhere and thought I had to pick one up! This top is from Tobi, and I absolutely love it! I just wore a strapless bra underneath but you can put a bralette under it too, and it would be just as cute.
These ripped boyfriend jeans I got from a local boutique back in Norman and thought they added something different to the look rather than plain skinny jeans - which don’t get me wrong, would also look really good with the outfit.
My accessories are my usual go-to pieces paired with my Louis Vuitton Neverfull and some affordable lace-up, heeled sandals.
And… while we were shooting this outfit, I left my sunglasses in the car that I wanted to style this look with, so I borrowed my best friend’s hexagonal Ray-Bans… and I love them! They’re so unique from the other styles I’ve seen, and I’m really happy with the way they ended up looking on me and with the outfit!

Hope you enjoyed :)

summery date night look

Hey guys!

I hope everyone's summer is going well :)

I wanted to share this adorable look with all of you because I'm obsessed with this lace-up dress from Tobi and couldn't wait to style it! When shopping online, I was afraid this color would wash me out too much but when I got it in the mail and tried it on, I loved the way it looked! I put this Free People bralette underneath and thought it added to the look.
The dress is comfy, stylish and great quality. It's perfect for a date night or just a night out in general. I paired the outfit with some of my favorite peep-toe booties which are currently on sale for under $20!
I know I'm pretty boring with accessories usually because I wear the same pieces - it's just that I love them and they go with everything! I gotta venture away from the David Yurman and switch it up a little, I know. These earrings I got from World Market forever ago, but any statement earrings would go perfectly!

Let me know if there are any different or specific posts you would like to read :)

Talk to y'all soon 😘
