preppy, girly, summery - all of the above

Hey everyone!

First off, I wanna start by saying how happy I am to finally be on summer break. School has been insanely overwhelming, and this break was long overdue! I'm happy to be back home with family and my long time friends :)
I'm excited to get this post up for y'all too! Since I'm on break for the next couple of months, I'll have so much more time to dedicate to my blog which is great because it needs some serious TLC. I've missed posting regularly but with being a college student it's so difficult. That's why I know this summer will be good for not only me but this blog also!
Anyway, on to the outfit... I wanted to share this look I thought of a while back when I picked up this summery off-the-shoulder top from A'gaci. The OTS trend has definitely been taking over, and I'm not complaining!
I was thinking to just wear it with white jeans and call it a day, but I wanted to spruce it up a bit. I paired it with this classy mid-length skirt from Ann Taylor that I adore and haven't worn since last summer for sorority recruitment (lol). I thought the two complemented each other really nicely.
I completed it with some usual accessories and my go-to Steve Madden wedges that are tried-and-true. This outfit would be perfect for so many different occasions, and you can't go wrong with any of the pieces mentioned!
Lastly, I wanted to mention that I had so much fun shooting this look with one of my best friends from home, and what better thing to do on a beautiful day with another fashion lover?

I can't wait to update more with all different types of content - stay tuned!

ETTIKA - HANDMADE BOHEMIAN JEWELRY

Hi loves!

I hope all has been well with everyone! Today I’m going to be sharing this adorable choker and lariat set from Ettika. I’m IN LOVE with these pieces! The quality is amazing and the jewelry is even cuter than the pictures online. This jewelry company based in L.A. has the trendiest accessories at all different price ranges. What I love about my order is that it’s 2 pieces in one, and they’re not connected so you can wear them on their own or together like shown here :)
As we all know, chokers have made a huge comeback, and I’m not complaining! This one is dainty and simple and perfect for layering. I can’t wait to start styling both of these necklaces more! Make sure you check out all these handmade, boho pieces and use my code "shereen_michelle" at checkout to get 15% off your purchase!

p.s. I have just a couple more weeks of school left, then I’ll be able to post a lot more content for you guys!

Talk to y’all soon 😘

Finally in my 20's

Alright guys - it’s been a hot minute.

I wanted to make a post about turning 20 today! I know most people in college say 20 is a completely pointless age, and we’re just counting down the days until 21. Although not false, it isn’t entirely true to me. I kinda feel like I’m more of an adult now because my age doesn’t end in “teen” anymore (lol) which I’m glad about. I also think this is the start to a very interesting and fulfilling decade, a lot of ish happens in your 20's and I wanna see how this all turns out. Hopefully I have some great stories to tell and amazing memories to make. This outfit was for my birthday dinner tonight with some close friends which was so much fun! I also want to say thank you to everyone for all the kind wishes and generosity today!
My favorite part is the OTS top from Nastygal. Unfortunately it’s out of stock but I linked other cute options below! I couldn’t wait to style it with some skinny jeans and peep toe booties - my go-to. I thought my Tory Burch cross body would be perfect to complete the look because it’s great for going out and you can dress it up or down, not to mention I’m obsessed with the color 😍
Now, let’s talk about where I’ve been. This semester has been kicking my butt, and I’m really trying to focus all my energy into school and my future. I put all my hard work and dedication into my major and trying to succeed and find a place for myself in journalism. I know I haven’t been putting time into my blog these past couple of months, but it really is a challenge when you’re a student and have yet to find what you’re truthfully passionate about and want to spend the rest of your life doing. That being said, I definitely want to continue this blog because I enjoy creating posts for all of you and sharing about things I love.
It’s my main hobby that turned into a business of some sort which I think is pretty neat. I wish I could put in more time, but the free time I do have, is spent either binge watching Netflix shows or spending time with my friends. I wish I had a lot more of that free time so I could spend it creating more and more content for all of you. But I’ll try my best.

Here’s to a great year of being 20.

Anthro Wrap + Puff Beanie

Hey everyone!

I’ve been meaning to put this post up ever since I posted a sneak peak of it on my Instagram a few weeks ago (@shereen_michelle - shameless self promo😉) but I wanted to sporadically even out my sponsored posts so they aren’t all that you see for two months, and so you get to see my personal content more!
This outfit was shot in Dallas on my Christmas break and let me tell ya, this day was
f r e e z i n g. It started to snow a little bit while we were shooting, and I thought I lost all form of life in my hands. (Y’all northerners are probably laughing at me 🙈)
Okay, okay I’m done complaining about the cold… now we can talk about the outfit. I bought this wrap at Anthropologie, clearly the star of the show, it’s adorable, warm and earthy - I love it! It makes any simple outfit look like you tried 10x harder than you actually did. Just throw it over a simple long sleeve shirt and some jeans, that’s what I did! I also had to add the puff beanie or whatever it’s actually called because the weather definitely called for it. It’s so cute and adds a little something to an outfit on a colder day.
Hope you enjoyed :)

BioClarity Skin Care Review

Hi loves!

I gotta be honest, I was actually really excited that BioClarity reached out to me to try their products. My skin has been an absolute mess these past few months, and it’s been awful. I’ve never broken out so much in my entire life, and we all know acne isn’t cute. I tried different products and treatments but nothing really worked at all, the best it would do was make the blemishes go away for maybe a day then they’d reappear again.
But when I tried BioClarity, it changed the game. I saw gradual improvement from my skin ever since I started using it, now my skin is so much clearer than it was before. After I take off my makeup at night, I use the cleanser to clean my face then use the spot treatment, then once that dries, I apply the restore gel all over my face to bring back hydration. I do the same process in the morning for best results, as well. The product does a really great job of drying out your blemishes, and you’ll notice clearer skin in just a couple of days.
What I also really love about this product is it’s completely organic and natural ingredients wise, I have super sensitive skin, and it never seemed to irritate it at all. It’s odorless and leaves my skin super smooth and clean after each use. I’m running low on the products now, but the results were so good that I need to purchase some myself! I hope some of you found this helpful in trying to find the right products for you!

Talk to you guys soon :)

New Year's Eve OOTN

Hey guys! I wanna start off by saying it’s been a minute!! I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday and great end to your semester! I also wanna apologize for hardly posting at all lately but I wanna start getting back on track in this new year (fingers crossed). Speaking of the new year… it’s New Years Eve, and this look is perfect for tonight! It’s not nearly as cold here as I wish it were so I might have to wear a dress and call it a night.
I’ve been loving the over the knee boot trend and had to get a pair for myself. Sick of seeing these yet? I think they’re so cute! It took me a while to find the right ones because I’m only 5’3” and a lot of the ones I tried on took up over half my body, and that isn’t too cute 😂
If you have any specific posts you wanna see feel free to let me know! I’d love to hear from you 😘
I hope you have a fun and safe New Year’s Eve - call an uber if you have to!
