Top 10 Travel Fashion Essentials

Hey everyone!

I’m really excited to get this post up because at the end of the month, I’m traveling to Italy and France! I swear this is a dream.. I’ve never been to Europe and I couldn’t be more excited for the trip. I’ll definitely be taking lots of pictures and making so many great memories that I’ll be sharing on here with you all!
I thought this post would be useful and a good way to gather some of the fashion essentials for the trip. Some of the stuff I have already ordered while others are inspiration/on my wish list.

1. Denim Jumpsuit: I just ordered this and can't wait to style it. Jumpsuits are so easy to throw on and look effortlessly cute.
2. Floppy Hat: This is definitely a must for the beach! I have 2 already so I don't think I'll be needing another but both will be going in my suitcase for sure.
3. Trendy One Piece: One pieces are very in right now, and I love this one! It's so cute yet so affordable. I just can't decide if I want to risk ordering a swimsuit online since I can't return it.
4. Pom Pom Lace-Up Sandals: I've seen these everywhere and they're probably at the top of my wish list. I really wanna buy a pair before my trip! They'd look great with a simple flowy skirt or dress.
5. Beachy Maxi Dress: These types of dresses are a must for trips and travel in general. Maxi dresses are perfect for going out for dinner after a long day of sight-seeing and sunbathing.
4. Durable-but-cute Backpack: Perfect for hiking/exploring/adventuring hands-free.
7. Straw Beach Bag: Pom pom straw beach bags are everywhere... and I love it.
8. Circular Sunglasses: I finally got a pair of cheap circular sunnies that I can't wait to style & wear. I also won't care too much if they get lost since they were a steal.
9. Colorful Statement Earrings: Bauble Bar hands down has the prettiest jewelry, and I want it all!
10. Lace Cover Up: This coverup is so affordable and cute. I'll probably have to order this one also!

Thanks for reading, and I can't wait to keep you all updated on my trip!

Boho printed top + denim skirt

Hi there!

I hope all of you have been doing well :) I'm excited to share this outfit with y'all because it's so different from anything I've showed before with the colors and style. My friend said I looked like a cool art teacher so i'll take it as a compliment 😉
I got this top from Anthropologie on Memorial Day Weekend on sale for under $30. It was reduced several times from some ridiculous price so I definitely got a good deal on it.
These earrings from Charming Charlie were super affordable and are inspired by the Bauble Bar Crispin Drop Earrings but way cheaper. I think they complement the top really well and bring out the warm colors in one another.
Now... let's talk about the skirt. This denim zip-up skirt from Tobi is my favorite! It has become a staple in my closet ever since the trend came back in style. It's comfortable, not too short and it has pockets! On top of that, it's also affordable so there's no reason not to go for it! I sized up and got a medium for reference :)

Talk to y'all very soon! Have a great weekend 😘

choker neck top + life update

Hi everyone!

First, I wanted to catch up with you all about my life and how my summer break is going. I got done with classes about a month ago and came back home to Plano, TX to be with my family. I was expecting to land an internship for the summer, but things didn’t quite go as planned.
I’ll be interning at OU’s Gender & Equality Center this fall as their Social Media Intern which is super exciting! Since my summer cleared up, I’ve been on the hunt for a part-time job, updating my blog a lot more, working out almost every day, seeing friends & family and planning trips. I’ve kept busy so far but fingers crossed I can find a job to make some extra cash!
Now on to the outfit...
I wanted to share this specific look with y’all this week because I’m loving the choker top/ deep v trend. I see it everywhere and thought I had to pick one up! This top is from Tobi, and I absolutely love it! I just wore a strapless bra underneath but you can put a bralette under it too, and it would be just as cute.
These ripped boyfriend jeans I got from a local boutique back in Norman and thought they added something different to the look rather than plain skinny jeans - which don’t get me wrong, would also look really good with the outfit.
My accessories are my usual go-to pieces paired with my Louis Vuitton Neverfull and some affordable lace-up, heeled sandals.
And… while we were shooting this outfit, I left my sunglasses in the car that I wanted to style this look with, so I borrowed my best friend’s hexagonal Ray-Bans… and I love them! They’re so unique from the other styles I’ve seen, and I’m really happy with the way they ended up looking on me and with the outfit!

Hope you enjoyed :)

summery date night look

Hey guys!

I hope everyone's summer is going well :)

I wanted to share this adorable look with all of you because I'm obsessed with this lace-up dress from Tobi and couldn't wait to style it! When shopping online, I was afraid this color would wash me out too much but when I got it in the mail and tried it on, I loved the way it looked! I put this Free People bralette underneath and thought it added to the look.
The dress is comfy, stylish and great quality. It's perfect for a date night or just a night out in general. I paired the outfit with some of my favorite peep-toe booties which are currently on sale for under $20!
I know I'm pretty boring with accessories usually because I wear the same pieces - it's just that I love them and they go with everything! I gotta venture away from the David Yurman and switch it up a little, I know. These earrings I got from World Market forever ago, but any statement earrings would go perfectly!

Let me know if there are any different or specific posts you would like to read :)

Talk to y'all soon 😘

preppy, girly, summery - all of the above

Hey everyone!

First off, I wanna start by saying how happy I am to finally be on summer break. School has been insanely overwhelming, and this break was long overdue! I'm happy to be back home with family and my long time friends :)
I'm excited to get this post up for y'all too! Since I'm on break for the next couple of months, I'll have so much more time to dedicate to my blog which is great because it needs some serious TLC. I've missed posting regularly but with being a college student it's so difficult. That's why I know this summer will be good for not only me but this blog also!
Anyway, on to the outfit... I wanted to share this look I thought of a while back when I picked up this summery off-the-shoulder top from A'gaci. The OTS trend has definitely been taking over, and I'm not complaining!
I was thinking to just wear it with white jeans and call it a day, but I wanted to spruce it up a bit. I paired it with this classy mid-length skirt from Ann Taylor that I adore and haven't worn since last summer for sorority recruitment (lol). I thought the two complemented each other really nicely.
I completed it with some usual accessories and my go-to Steve Madden wedges that are tried-and-true. This outfit would be perfect for so many different occasions, and you can't go wrong with any of the pieces mentioned!
Lastly, I wanted to mention that I had so much fun shooting this look with one of my best friends from home, and what better thing to do on a beautiful day with another fashion lover?

I can't wait to update more with all different types of content - stay tuned!
